Birmingham Airport Community Outreach Programme and Night Flying Policy Consultation
For several years, Birmingham Airport has operated a programme of outreach sessions at libraries and Community Centres in those communities most affected by its operations, including Marston Green.
Each session lasts for two hours and aims to provide residents with the opportunity to sit down and discuss any issues or concerns they may have face to face with members of the Airport’s community and environment teams. The sessions take place during the daytime and in the evening and are free and open to all.
The next session in Marston Green will take place on Thursday 9th June, between 12:00 and 14:00 at Marston Green Library and thereafter on 21st July between 17:00 and 19:00, also at the library. Should you not be able to attend these sessions and are able to travel, the full outreach schedule is published below:

As well as providing the chance to talk about any Airport-related issue they choose, the Airport is offering residents the opportunity to comment on proposed changes to its Night Flying Policy. A consultation on a full review of the Night Flying Policy will run from 1st June – 24th August 2011.
